Day 1 Hometown / Tokyo
You will begin your adventure by heading to Tokyo from Vancouver, or connecting to Japan Airlines to Tokyo from your hometown via either Vancouver or Chicago. Your Canadian tour escort is from Vancouver.

Day 2 Arrive Beijing Arrive Beijing, the capital of China. You will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Hotel: Best Western

Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world - the square and its periphery are home to some of China's most important monuments and government edifices. Then, tour the adjacent Forbidden City, the largest existing ancient architectural complex in China. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace - an enchanting panorama of lake, landscape, pagodas and pavilions. In the evening, you will enjoy a Beijing Acrobatic Show. (B/L/D)

Day 4 Beijing
After breakfast, take a walk on the Great Wall, which winds dragon-like across northern China. After lunch visit Changling , the tomb of Emperor Yongle - one of the Ming Tombs at the burial site of thirteen Ming Dynasty Emperors. If time permits, you will visit a cloisonne production factory. This evening enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner. A Beijing Night Tour will be arranged. (B/L/SD)

Day 5 Beijing
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven . Then embark on a bicycle rickshaw tour around the ancient alleyways of a Beijing Hutong - one of Beijing's rapidly vanishing 700 year-old traditional cottage neighborhoods. Visit a family in one of the “Quadrangles”. You'll be treated to a Dumpling Lunch at the home of one of the local families ! Later, head to Wangfujing and Silk Alley for shopping. (B/SL/D)

Day 6 Beijing / Xi'an Morning flight to Xi'an - one of China's ancient capitals. After lunch, visit the Ming Dynasty City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and Shaanxi Provincial Museum. This evening, you will enjoy a X i'an Special Dumpling Banquet while being entertained by a colourful Tang Dynasty Show. (B/L/SD) Hotel: Tangcheng

Day 7 Xi'an
Full day tour of Xi'an. First, visit Banpo Neolithic Village where the relics of a prehistoric settlement of the New Stone Age (over 6,000 years ago) were found. Afterwards, view one of the most exciting archaeological finds of the 20th Century - the excavation of more than 6,000 Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, and the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses reproduction factory. A Western Dinner is served tonight and a Xi'an Night Tour will be arranged. (B/L/WD)

Day 8 Xi'an / Hangzhou
Today you fl y to Hangzhou and visit the famous West Lake. A special Hangzhou local Cuisine Dinner and a Hangzhou Night Tour will be arranged. (B/L/SD)

Day 9 Hangzhou
In Hangzhou, you will visit Lingyin Monastery, Six Harmonies Pagoda, Qiantang River, Tiger Spring and a tea plantation . In the evening you will enjoy Song Dynasty Town Dinner and Show. (B/L/SD)

Day 10 Hangzhou - Zhouzhuang - Shanghai
After breakfast, you will take a coach ride to the canal town of Zhouzhuang, which has a history of over 900 years. Visit Shen Ting House, Zhang Ting House, the Double Bridge, and enjoy a canal boat ride. Continue on to Shanghai. After dinner, enjoy a Huangpu River Night Cruise. (B/L/D)

Day 11 Shanghai Today's Shanghai city tour takes you to the People's Square, Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Garden, and Shanghai's famous riverside promenade “The Bund ”. Afterwards, tour the ultra-modern Pudong Development Zone and get a closer look at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Visit a Shanghai Silk Factory. Tonight you will enjoy a Shanghai Farewell Dinner. Day 12 Shanghai (Free Day)
Today is free for you to explore Shanghai on your own. Lunch and Dinner by your own arrangement. (B)

Day 13 Shanghai / Hometown
After breakfast, bid farewell to China and depart for Tokyo with an immediate connection back home. (B)
